The animated braiding guide is free, and will stay free. These cards are its paper version: the same content, printable, for those who prefer a sheet next to the worktop to a screen, and for those who want to support the blog with $6.

What’s inside (21 pages, A4, prints fine on US Letter):

• The seven habits of a beautiful braid, and a bit of history.
• Nine braids, one page each: 3 strands (classic and from the middle), the twist, 4 strands (classic and flat), 5 strands, 6 strands (classic and flat), 8 strands. On each card: the mantra to say out loud, and one thumbnail per move showing the expected result with numbered strands.
• Eleven festive shapes: round spiral challah, woven round, crown, knotted rolls, Torah scroll, wheat sheaf, key challah, apple, pomegranate, ladder, two-tier braid. Each with its drawn steps, tips and rising time.
• The calendar of shapes by holiday, and troubleshooting (a braid that opens up, shrinking strands, one egg wash or two…).

The cards are generated from the same animations as the guide: when a new braid is added to the guide, you get the new version for free.
