    • 6 ripe tomatoes
    • 3 balls fresh mozzarella
    • 1 bunch fresh basil
    • Quality olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar glaze
    • Salt, pepper
    1. In a serving bowl, slice the tomatoes into medium-sized rounds, then slice the mozzarella.
    2. Chop the basil.
    3. Drizzle with olive oil, then the balsamic vinegar glaze. Season with salt and pepper.
    4. Serve chilled with fresh bread or bruschetta.

    Variation

    • For an appetizer version, thread cherry tomatoes, small mozzarella balls, basil leaves, and garlic croutons onto small skewers.
