- 300g (10.5 oz) frozen (or fresh) pitted cherries
- 100ml (scant ½ cup) water
- 50g (¼ cup) sugar
- In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar and bring to a boil until the sugar is dissolved. Add the cherries and lower the heat. Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
Storage
These cherries, stored in a sterilized jar, will keep for about ten days in the refrigerator.
