Homemade Herbed Breadcrumbs

Here’s a basic (and incredibly simple) recipe for breadcrumbs flavored with garlic and herbs, bringing a taste of summer to your dishes. I use it for Provençal tomatoes, in cauliflower gratin, and often sprinkle it over sautéed green beans, fresh green salad, mushrooms, or fish.

Ingredients

Check off ingredients as you go

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 bunch fresh parsley
  • 2 level tablespoons herbes de Provence
  • 80g (1 cup) breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • Salt, pepper
  1. In a small food processor, blend together the garlic cloves, parsley, breadcrumbs, and herbes de Provence.

Tip

  • These herbed breadcrumbs will keep for several days in an airtight container.
