A refreshing dairy-free smoothie with kiwi, banana and basil that’s creamy, easy to make, and naturally sweet.

Kiwi Banana Basil Smoothie

Ingredients

    For 4 servings (500ml / 2 cups)

    • 4 kiwis
    • 2 ripe bananas
    • 400ml (1⅔ cups) almond milk (or other plant-based milk or coconut milk)
    • 2 tablespoons sugar (or maple syrup) if needed
    • 5-6 fresh mint and/or basil leaves
    • 3 tablespoons coconut cream (optional)
    1. Place the bananas, cut into pieces, in a food-safe bag and freeze for one hour. Wash and peel the remaining fruit.
    2. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust the amount of almond milk depending on your desired consistency.

    Serve immediately or refrigerate for a few hours.

    Tips and Variations

    For a dairy version, you can replace the plant-based milk with regular milk.

    For a more exotic flavor, add a bit more coconut cream and some mango.
