Star anise, also called badiane, has excellent properties like green anise, particularly for migraines and stomach aches. We often think of infusing spices for winter drinks, so here’s an idea for a refreshing water for summer.
- In a saucepan, place the star anise and pour 250ml (1 cup) of water. Bring to a boil and continue for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat.
- Filter out the star anise, pour into a one-liter (1 quart) glass bottle, and fill the rest of the bottle with water.
- Refrigerate until chilled.
