Eggplant Parmigiana - the Classic Italian Bake
Eggplant parmigiana is a rich Italian classic, a complete dish similar to a gratin, creamier than a lasagna where the sheets of pasta have been swapped for delicious slices of eggplant.

An easy dessert that feels like rice pudding, but made with coconut cream and tapioca pearls (called perles du Japon, “Japanese pearls”, in France). These little pearls are used in desserts, sauces and soups, mainly because they’re an excellent thickener.

Leek season has begun! Smoked salmon and leek quiche is a wonderful seasonal recipe, and a great way to use up an already-opened package of smoked salmon. If you like fish quiches, you’ll probably also enjoy white fish and mushroom quiche and salmon, spinach and ricotta quiche.

Crisp on the outside like a Jerusalem bagel, with a sesame crust to die for and a wonderfully soft inside, all topped with a fragrant cheese cream that’s never heavy. A dream of a recipe, simple and festive at the same time. A must for Shavuot! Kosher and dairy.

If you love rich, silky puddings (the taste reminds me of the melt-in-your-mouth Mamie Nova puddings from French supermarkets!), these pistachio ones are for you. They’re easy to make and gluten-free. They’ve become a classic in my house, every time I have some pistachio paste on hand.

These ring-shaped honey cakes, fried and then dipped in honey syrup, are one of the best-known pastries on holiday tables, especially for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Today I’m sharing my family recipe for Tunisian yoyos.

I love tarts and quiches and I love mushrooms. This week, wanting a change from my usual mushroom quiche, I came across a recipe from chef Ottolenghi, which inspired this one. I simplified it with what I had on hand and adapted it to our tastes, and everyone loved it. The tarragon and dill pairing goes beautifully with mushrooms and is what gives this tart its original flavor. The classic quiche filling (eggs + cream) is replaced here by a delicious mushroom cream (which, by the way, can be made dairy-free). I’ll let you discover it!

Craving ultra-moist double chocolate muffins? This quick and easy recipe is perfect for an indulgent afternoon snack. These cocoa and chocolate chip muffins will quickly become a staple. A few minutes of prep and no complicated ingredients, and you get beautifully domed muffins with a tender crumb (that hardly makes any crumbs!) and an irresistible chocolate aroma. Kosher and parve if you use plant-based yogurt.

These banana chocolate chip muffins are a recipe to hold on to… They are light, indulgent, the chips are evenly distributed and never sink to the bottom. A quick, foolproof recipe. Plus, you get to use up those very (overly) ripe bananas you didn’t know what to do with because nobody wanted to eat them. Kosher and easily made dairy-free.

A childhood memory… A mountain of golden roses, glossy with honey syrup, sitting proudly on a porcelain serving platter. The best part? How thin the pastry is. A wonderful treat to make for Purim or Rosh Hashanah, or for Shavuot, to recall the giving of the Torah on top of Mount Sinai.

With Shavuot just around the corner, I’m bringing back this cheesecake with its wonderfully creamy texture, all white and glossy. Easy and indulgent without breaking the scale, with a speculoos crust and a delicate hint of lemon, it’s always a huge hit at my house.
